Hello Everyone–
Well, I got a few emails and texts of you guys working out…I think I disclosed that you would be on the website (oops if I didn’t)!! Some of you I didn’t get an actual picture, but I saw facebook posts of runs and talked to some of you—Nice job! If you took the week off (I took some of it off…it was a great rest for your body-don’t feel one bit bad about it-you work hard all week and deserve some time off!)
Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures of myself working out…..hmmm-was that on purpose??? I did do one of the workouts from the last post…it was tough! It’s weird doing your own thing in a gym, it’s definitely not as fun-I definitely prefer working out with you guys. Lucky for me the gym wasn’t very crowded (the one time I went-I ran outside the other day) and I was able to take up some space and do what I wanted to do. I did the workout at The Contemporary Resort’s “temporary” gym. I was so looking forward to working out in a “posh” gym, but of course as my luck would have it this trip, the gym was undergoing renovations and they had set up the equipment in a banquet hall.
I also decided to take a Bootcamp Body Sculpt class on the cruise. I thought I would get some fresh ideas for class and needed a little butt kickin’ of my own! The brochure said that there was nominal fee (all the other classes were free) so I expected an awesome 30 minute workout for about $10-$15. The nominal fee for the 30 minute class was $33!! Yikes! After I paid it I knew it had to be a great workout for that price….NOT!!! We did four exercises and repeated them in a descending pyramid, I barely broke a sweat. The instructor would give us a minute break between each set….I think he needed it more than anyone in the class. 🙂 The last section was an “intense” ab series…according to him! We had to hold in plank for 30 seconds if we could! What? We do a 4 minute plank series at No Excuses!! Needless to say, it wasn’t worth the $33!!

Hopefully everyone had an AWESOME Spring Break whether you were here in Illinois or were lucky to get somewhere a little warmer. For those of you that stayed here, no worries…Orlando got to a high of 60 degrees and we were FREEZING!!

However, the cruise did get a little warmer, but we had to make sure we were in the sun!!

If you ever get the opportunity to go on a Disney Cruise….DO IT! It was great! My kids loved it, we loved it, it was AWESOME!! We can’t wait to book the next one.
