October 1st—-Yikes! It’s been a while since I’ve blogged. I wasn’t sure if what I would have to say would be too positive. I’m not sure if you remember, but in the last post I claimed to have things down. I had a routine of some sort. I was starting to balance it all. Well…that all went out the window the past few weeks. Again, I’ve been running around with my head cut off. I think I just need to get used to the fact that I am a “hurricane”. My house can stay clean for 2 days MAX, my desk at work can stay clean for maybe one day, and I am pretty sure I will never get a shower every day. I think my max is 5 in one week. One of the main reasons for the procrastination is that I haven’t been able to come up with a new challenge or incentive for all of you, but don’t you worry….I’VE FINALLY GOT IT!!!
HERE IT IS….WEIGHT LOSS +CHALLENGE+ FOOD DIARY= LIFESTYLE CHANGE
- On Friday (or Tuesday if you aren’t there Friday) you need to weigh in if you want to participate.
- At the end of each week….you will have submitted 7 Food Diary logs to me….(yep, I’m making you do it, I’m holding you accountable…for 30 DAYS-you can do anything for 30 days and all I’m asking you to do is write down what you eat)
- On a google doc….each morning you will get a form from me in an email that you need to fill out and submit to me by the end of the day, or noon the following day…. EXAMPLE- Food Diary http://goo.gl/forms/6DtJzNkFdi I think some of you think that you are eating healthier than you are (myself included) and it is proven that if you write down what you eat, you will have a better chance at long term weight loss…the KEY is being HONEST on your food diary!
- EVERYTHING COUNTS, from a handful of goldfish to a handful of chocolate chips!
- Also, every Friday for the next 5 weeks (including this Friday) we will be starting our SQUAT challenge. This Friday will be 50 SQUATS, increasing by 50 SQUATS each week for a total of 250 SQUATS on HALLOWEEN!!!
- What does it cost? $10.00 for the Weight Loss Challenge
- What do you get?
- For every week’s worth of HONEST food diary completion you turn in you will get $5.00 off your next session ($20 max).
- The person with the highest weight loss percentage gets 1/2 off their next session fee (that is including the food diary $20…you don’t get both).
- Second place gets 30% off the next session fee (that is including the food diary $20…you don’t get both)
- Third Place gets 20% off the next session fee (that is including the food diary $20…you don’t get both)
- So…let’s say you don’t get 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the weight loss challenge, but have been keeping a food diary….you will get $20 off your next session! I will also look at your Food Diary and offer some hints or ideas to help along the way. Please remember, I do this for fun, and I am not a certified nutritionist!!
