Weigh In Friday-New Session Starts November 4th!

Hi Everyone- Well, that was a fast 10 weeks…we are in week 10 of this session…I can’t believe we have had 9 weeks of working out…and we did some MAJOR KICK BUTT workouts!  Some of you are either doing quarter grades for your students or getting quarter grades for your own children….craziness-one down, three to go!

 

I have come across a number of inspirational quotes the past few weeks that have definitely resonated with me for various reasons…both fitness and life lesson motivational quotes (I know, I’m a geek!).

The following quote says a lot….and then there was another one and another one….I guess it was a sign that I defintiely needed to let some things go….. IMG_4379

There have been a few  incidents in the past few years, both in my personal life and work life that have caused me to take this message to heart.  Let me start by saying that I am LOUD, speak my mind, tend to have no filter, and am 100% honest with my feelings (even when I should keep my mouth shut) and I am 100% POSITIVE that I have hurt people with my actions.  I also know that as much as I appear to be  strong and and appear to be confident, I am insecure and my feelings get hurt.  I hold others to EXTREMELY HIGH standards and is unfair to them at times.  I aways try to apologize for my actions or words (maybe not with Jim so much, I always think I’m right in those arguments-jk), but unfortunately I also have that same expectation of others.  I expect others to hold themselves accountable the same way I do and apologize for their actions as well.  Forgiveness is a two way street and if there is only one person forgiving, it is hard to move forward and that is where I feel anger sets in for me and probably for others.  On different occasions I find myself getting angrier and angrier, whether it be a colleague, parent, boss, friend, close friend, or even a stranger .  Everyone always says, “Let it Go” (insert song here-that song is totally appropriate for 3 year old little girls and 38 year old men and women), but until I saw this quote in black and white-literally black and white-did it really sink in.  I am the only one that is suffering….So….I thought I would share it with all of you in case some of you were going through some of the same struggles I have been going through. 😉

Then, I found this little picture and thought that it was very appropriate for all of us at No Excuses, except  4 of you, whom I’m sure are not wearing one of these….

And then I found this one….for FITNESS/NUTRITION: I am a firm believer that drinking water is crucial to success (I am not good at on the weekends at all, but it is so good for you).  You know how I feel about working out…it’s AWESOME!  HEalthy eating is a MUST, but also allow yourself to enjoy the treats…we only live once.  But….I haven’t talked a ton about sleep and how important it is.  Yes, I am the crazy lunatic asking you to get up at 4:45 in the morning to workout, but that also means that you need to go to bed earlier 2 or 3 nights per week.  I know, blah, blah, blah, your husband (insert wife here for those guys)wants to watch a movie, or snuggle, or “other things”, but if your husband (wife) really wants what is best….a rockin’ HEALTHY hot wife (husband), then he will let you get your beauty sleep.  A colleague recently attended a conference on sleep disorders and recently reminded us how important it is to get 6-8 hours of sleep per night!  AMEN!!  You know I follow that prescription to a T…I get an A+ in that category.

Now…for the details for the coming week and new session!

Weigh in is Friday! Let’s get it done!  If you’ve kept your nutrition log for you get $20 off!  Person  with the highest weight loss gets 50% off session fee.  Second place gets  30% off session fee and Third Place gets 20% off!  That’s enough of an incentive for motivation this week!!  Class this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at 5:15.

NEXT SESSION:  I hate to even say that it brings us to January 2015!

There will be NO CLASS FRIDAY, November 28th, 2014…a Girl’s gotta SHOP!!

There will probably only be 2 days of class (possibly 3) the week of Christmas…probably the 22nd, 23rd, and maybe the 24th (I need a workout prior to family parties…good stress relief!)

We will have class December 30th, 31st, and January 2nd!!

Also…a little bonus if you have a friend sign up…$10 off your session fee…we only have 2/3 spots open for next session!
