Just wanted to send out a reminder about classes for this week. We have class on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday this week as usual….time to burn off that TURKEY!! Get ready for a hard, sweaty, FUN workout!
This week has been all about being THANKFUL! What are you thankful for? I think that is a very loaded question and I could answer it a few different ways. I, of course, have your typical answer…I am soooooo thankful for my kids and husband, my mom, my health, my friends, etc….blah, blah, blah. I don’t mean to sound so negative with the blah, blah, blah…but if we aren’t thankful for those things then there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with each of us. BUT, I ask you, what are you REALLY thankful for…what has made you what you are today? What have you pushed through to get you where you are today?
Honestly, for me, it’s not what you would expect, or actually maybe it is. I am MOST thankful for the struggles/mistakes/lessons I have had to endure over the course of my life. I believe those “life lessons” have made me a better version of myself. Those life lessons for me have been from something as BIG as the loss of a loved one to the trivial mistakes of saying something stupid to a crazy lady driving like a lunatic down the road!! Without those struggles/lessons/mistakes, I wouldn’t be the person I am today, good and bad, I have learned from all of them and for that I am THANKFUL!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I am so thankful that I get the opportunity to workout with all of you on a weekly basis. You work hard, show up, and listen to my crazy stories and ramblings….well- I guess you have no choice, you are a captured audience. 🙂
