Class Description

All classes are a mixture of the following descriptions.  You never know what you will get when you walk thru the door!  Some of my favorite equipment are sliders and the use of your own body!

BOOTCAMP/TOTAL BODY WORKOUT

A total body workout!  This will be a group exercise class that mixes traditional calisthenics and body weight exercises with interval training and strength training.  There will be circuits, stations, and individual and group workouts.  Something different everyday!! Don’t let the word, “bootcamp” intimidate you, it’s just the trendy word for an all over workout, at least in my brain that’s what it means!!   This class is also for those of you that want a challenge because I have no problem giving  you one and pushing you to go faster and adding heavier weights.  A majority of the classes are based on timed intervals rather than a specific number of reps of each exercise.  This will allow you to go at YOUR OWN PACE!!

TABATA/HIIT

“Tabata” is the name of a particular type of workout program that provides similar health benefits to that of cardio workouts, but Tabata has a bit more spice.  Instead of hours upon hours or exercise, Tabata can be completed in 4 minutes, but we will be doing more than four minutes.  HIGH CALORIE AND FAT BURN!!!  Tabata falls under the category of high intensity interval training

YOU NEED TO PUSH YOURSELF TO YOUR HIGHEST LEVEL OF INTESITY…..A 10 PLUS SOME!!

STRENGTH TRAINING

Strength training will allow you to build muscle, not become a bodybuilder!  Strength training burns calories, and increases your endurance and joint movement.  It can even improve your sleep.  We will be using free weights and our own body weight to help us get stronger.
